NeuroSim
Simulator
A spiking circuit integrating on your own hardware. The controls change the equations, not a playback speed.
The model
Published parameters, not chosen ones.
Each neuron holds a membrane potential and a synaptic drive term. Both decay between events. A presynaptic spike adds a step proportional to the number of synapses in that connection, signed by the presynaptic transmitter. At threshold the cell fires, resets, and is refractory for a fixed interval.
The defaults are the published constants of the whole-brain Drosophila model of Shiu, Sterne and colleagues. Every one of them is adjustable above, but results then describe your parameterisation rather than the reference model.
